Low-Level Laser Acupuncture, also known as cold laser uses low-intensity lasers and light emitting diodes (LEDs). These infrared and visible red wavelengths relieve pain and reduce inflammation caused by damaged tissue.

Low-Level Laser Acupuncture is not a new treatment. It was pioneered in the 1960s and there are thousands of published studies documenting its effects in a range of medical and veterinary applications. Health professionals around the world use Low Level Laser to treat patients suffering from a range of acute and chronic pain conditions.

    QiPulse Red Lasers
This isn’t the typical laser pointer you buy at the office supply store. (Those have a completely different wavelength.) This is the real thing! Stimulating, red laser light has been proven by decades of use.

    Correct 635 nM wavelength
    5 mW power for safety
    FDA Class IIIa laser product

    QiCalm Blue Lasers
For years calming, blue light has traditionally been associated with relaxation, sedation, and tranquility. Though blue LED’s have been readily available for years, a true, saphire-blue laser is a new development.

A true, 450nM blue laser requires an advanced manufacturing process that is more expensive than the cheaper violet lasers.

Is Laser Acupuncture the same as Laser Light Therapy?

Laser Acupuncture is performed by a licenced Acupuncturist who has extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

An acupuncture laser device is similar to normal acupuncture except that laser light is used instead of acu-needles, which great for people that don't like needles!

Treating with laser acupuncture is the stimulation of acupuncture points, and meridians using the foundations of Chinese Medicine; as well as the concepts of holism, 5 elements, yin-yang, the meridians systems, and Qi.

General laser therapy is the application of infrared light and/or visible red light to injured or damaged local tissue directly on the affected area, without the stimulation of the pathways or the knowledge of Chinese Medicine foundations.
